October Happenings

L. helped me make some sugar cookies for Halloween to give as treats to her teachers. C. is a strong little boy who can lift his head well at 3 months and doesn't always enjoy tummy time. He started rolling from tummy to back at 6 weeks. We've been enjoying this beautiful fall weather and taking daily walks in the evening.

Pumpkin Patch

We had a good time seeing so many pumpkins in N. GA at a pumpkin patch. C is now 3 mo. and L is almost 3 years.

Pumpkin and Puppy Dog

L feels the need to lay right beside C when he is on this activity mat. She's adjusting more and more each day. We tackled potty training this week and she's getting the hang of it.

Big Helper

L. loves to hold her little brother. I'm glad she likes to be a helper (for the most part).

Two month stats

C. is growing well and weighed 11 lbs 9 oz at his last appointment. Thankful all is going well with his growth and with nursing (for most part). I let L. hold him for first time. She was proud to be able to hold him. She says she loves him all the time. She is doing better with adjusting to his crying and needing my attention, though Daddy gives her lots of extra attention these days.

Two months

C. is more awake now and is starting to smile. He's putting on weight and nursing well most times. I got 6 hours sleep for the first time last nite. L. seems to be adjusting better now - although she still wants to be held when we hold him and doesn't like me rocking him or patting him (tries to get me to stop). She also likes to sneak his pacifier into her mouth. I bought these dresses in Singapore over 12 yrs ago in hopes I could use them for my little girl. Thankful for both our little ones!

One month old

C had a good one month visit - weighing in at 9 lbs 12 oz. He's also nursing much better now. I'm hoping for a full nights rest soon. He's now 6 wks old and L. is adjusting a little better.

We're adjusting to our new life with 2 little ones. C. is doing well and gaining wt and sleeping more at night.

 L. is adjusting as well. She seems to like her brother (except when he cries).

More pics of baby and Mom

We enjoyed a visit from Mom this week. She was a big help in taking care of the children as I was having to take C. to the Dr. several times for bloodwork. He had jaundice, but is better now.g

We welcomed our little boy into the world on 7-12 at 8:30pm. He was 7 lbs 3 oz and 19 inches.

Father's Day at the River

We enjoyed a nice day at the Chattahoochee River for Father's Day. L. loved playing in the frigid water and even after getting all wet she wanted to go back in for more.

Visit with Mom

We enjoyed a 3 day visit with Mom. The next time she visits (7 wks) we will have a new baby in the family. Thankful for her being able to come and visit! L enjoyed getting some reading time with her as well.

Sunday Fun

We enjoyed another Sunday going to a different fountain, seeing planes land at a local airport and enjoying a picnic at a park. Trying to drink in our time together before our newest arrival.

Sunday during Springtime

We went to church on Saturday night so we could enjoy a full day doing some fun things. We enjoyed the nearby fountains, visiting a dog park and taking a picnic to the lake. L. kept calling the long string of orange buoys near the dam a snake!
